 SPOTLIGHT

Each week we will feature an interesting leader of the Filipino events community - from producers to choreographers to venue operators to performers & more. There are so many amazing personalities and creators and we are excited to share these stories!

Name: Micah Cabral and Dimitri Roleda

Role: We are the co-founders of Good Morning Wines. Micah is the president of the company, and Dimitri is the corporate secretary and treasurer.

Describe your role: From planning to execution, we take care of every aspect of the business, from carrying cases of wine to meeting with our clients and customers.

Favorite part of your job: Japanese natural wines. While there's a lot of work to be done, we feel very fortunate to have the support of those who recognize the potential of these unique wines. Their support and encouragement have been invaluable as we continue to build our business and the Philippine market for Japanese natural wines.

Best performance you ever had and why?
Being one of the organizers for the Manila Natural Wine Fiesta is definitely up there. The overwhelming support and interest we received from everyone who visited our humble booth was beyond heartwarming. We enjoyed every moment of meeting and conversing with so many people about Japanese natural wines; Dimitri even started losing his voice at one point! It was a truly memorable and inspiring experience; it showed us the potential that's out there.

Any upcoming events you're excited for and why?
There's a few in the works! We'll post updates on our Instagram (@goodmorningwines) so follow us there!

What is your favorite movie?
Our preferences are slightly different from each other, but Spirited Away is one of our mutual favorites.
